Local author Cameron Vance has just published her first children's book titled, "Up, Up and Beyond." She will be telling her inspiring story and reading her book at the Logan Library on Tuesday, May 24th from 5:30PM to 6:30PM.

Families and children of all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Korean Lotus Lantern Workshop

The library will be offering a hybrid virtual/in-person Korean Lotus Lantern Workshop.  The workshop will take place at the library's meeting room from 5:00 - 6:15 PM on Thursday, October 6th.  We will connect virtually with representatives from the Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project (KSCPP), and they will guide us on creating our Korean Lotus Lantern, using colorful paper and wire frames. After the craft session, short documentaries about Korean culture will be presented.

Local Authors-Spring Series: LizAnn Baker Presents Her Book "Lessons of the Heart"

As a part of the free monthly Local Authors-Spring Series, LizAnn Baker, will be at the library on Tuesday, April 12  at 6:00 pm to present her latest book, Lessons of the Heart.  This inspirational book complements her two previous fictional books, Lessons of Honor, and Lessons of Love.  Baker has been a resident of Hocking County for over 30 years, growing up in Bremen.

Mary Reed is an Athens-based freelance writer and author. Her books include Hocking Hills Day Hikes, Hiking Ohio and Hiking West Virginia. In this author series, she will highlight her newest book, Hocking Hills Day Hikes, by presenting a slideshow that covers some of the day hikes.
