Our meeting room and our conference room at the Main Library will be opening to the public on September 1st.  Reservations are required, and you must meet the qualifications to use the rooms.  Please see our Meeting Spaces page to access our Meeting Room Policy and Meeting Room Application.

The Logan Library hosts two storytimes each week; one on Tuesday evenings from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM and one on Thursday mornings from 10 AM to 11 AM. Our storytime features 2-3 stories, 2-3 interactive activities or songs and a follow-along craft. We hope to see you there!

Furniture and Toy Sale

Sorry, we sold everything on Friday, so Saturday's hours are canceled!

The Logan-Hocking County Library is holding a Furniture and Toy Sale on Friday, July 30th and Saturday, July 31st from 9AM-2PM. The sale will take place in our large meeting room off of Walnut Street. We will be selling a wide array of furniture and children's toys. All children's toys will be sold by donation and all furniture is priced to sell. We hope to see you there!

The library is serving free sack lunches to-go this summer for kids under 18!   Lunches are sponsored and prepared by the SE Food Bank. Location and times are different depending upon the day, and library location, so please continue reading to see specific dates/times for your preferred location.   Lunches will be available for pickup at the Main Library on the Walnut St.

Make a one-on-one appointment, or join a class with our technology trainer.  Appointments can be made via phone or in-person at your local library branch.  Appointments are available weekdays, evenings and Saturdays.  Topics include Basic Understanding and Operation of: Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, Smartphone, eReader Software, Applications, Internet and many other technologies- ask us!  You can choose!

Our entertainer for this week is Jeff Nicholas, a very talented cartoonist. Jeff will tell us a story while drawing out the events in real time. He will even teach you how to draw your own story, line by line! All supplies will be provided.  Jeff will be at the Logan Branch at 10 am, and at the Laurelville Branch at 1 PM

Join us for week 5 of our Summer Reading Program!

In week 5 of our Summer Reading Program we will be accepting donations on behalf of the Hocking County Humane Society. HCHS will be attending with pets that the children can meet and interact with and discussing animal safety when it comes to strays. All attendees will get to make their own stuffed animal puppy. Supplies are provided by The Logan Library.
