Kathryn Metz from the Office of the Ohio Consumers’ Counsel will be present to discuss matters related to public utility service, including rising electric rates, how to conserve energy, how to pick an energy supplier, income-eligible assistance programs, and consumer protections. Feel free to come with questions, or even bring your utility bill and Kathryn will help you understand the different charges on it. She will have many fact sheets and other resources to distribute as well.

The Office of the Ohio Consumers’ Counsel (OCC), the residential utility consumer advocate, represents 4.5 million households in proceedings before state and federal regulators and in the courts.
