Free Lunch for Kids Under 18!

From June 6th through July 29th library is serving free lunches for kids under the age of 18, sponsored by the Hocking Athens Perry Community Action. 

In Logan we will be serving lunch from Noon - 1:00 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays in the meeting room at the Main Library Branch.  Please use our Walnut Street entrance to enter and exit the building. Lunch will be served from 11:00 AM-Noon on Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Arts Building at the Fairgrounds.

Parents, Grandparents and Caretakers-please join us at 2 PM on Tuesday, June 7th at the library's meeting room to for light refreshments and the program "Summer Safety for Your Littles", presented by the Hocking Valley Community Hospital.  Speaker Adrienne Nihiser, NP will give you great tips on how to keep your precious Littles safe this summer.

The library will be hosting free health screenings to anyone 18 or older at our Logan Branch.  The screenings are sponsored by Ohio University's College of Osteopathic Medicine Screening: Community Health Programs.  There is no need to register, just show up at the library and nurses will complete your testing (first come, first served).  The screening will check your blood pressure, your cholesterol lipid levels, and your blood glucose levels.   Fasting recommended but not required.
