The Library is accepting applications for a new Trustee to complete a term whose expiration is September 2028.  As part of a library trustee board, trustees serve on a volunteer basis, and are appointed either by a Hocking County Court of Common Please Judge or the Hocking County Commissioners; this vacant seat will be appointed by the Hocking County Commissioners.  Trustees are tasked with the duty of helping to direct the funds and policies of the library, and to abide by the Board of Trustees Code of Regulations.

Schedule your appointment now for One-on-One technology help!  Our technology trainer will provide individual instruction with phones, tablets and computers, using your device, or ours.  Appointment times and days vary.  Please check out our events calendar for the current schedule.

The library will be closed until Dr. Acton lifts the essential businesses only order. There will be no fines charged during this time, and we will renew the items that you have out currently.  We ask that you refrain from returning items to the library during our closure.

Kids and parents-join us online Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm starting April 16 to learn Spanish!  These six introductory Spanish lessons will be taught be to children ages 6 and up by Brenna Gates.  Brenna has lived in Argentina and Costa Rica (both Spanish speaking countries) and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish.
